Open Positions - Portland, OR

Position Details

We are currently seeking a part-time Operations Specialist who will be responsible for duties necessary for the successful sanitation of reusables, logistics, and warehouse activities. This is a critical role in the day-to-day operations that will contribute to the overall success of our service. We work in a light-filled warehouse in the Inner Eastside neighborhood.

Job Type

Part-time, 17.5 to 25 hours weekly. Some weekend availability is preferred. 

 

Compensation 

Starting at $18 per hour plus benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance; an Oregon Saves Roth IRA, paid holidays, and paid time off. 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare reusable packing for delivery 
  • Process, QC and sanitize reusable packaging items
  • Help manage container inventory at Bold Reuse HQ

 

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a production or warehouse environment
  • Ability to communicate clearly, read/write/record data, and perform simple mathematical calculations
  • Reliable; consistently at work and on time
  • Observes and follows proper safety procedures; willing to report potentially unsafe conditions
  • Must be able to work well with as part of a team
  • Capable of lifting 25-50lbs
  • Ability to work independently and effectively troubleshoot under stressful conditions

Position Details

We are expanding our business to Seattle, Washington and are currently seeking an Operations Specialist who will be responsible for duties necessary for successful sanitation of reusables, as well as logistics and administrative activities. This is a critical role in the day-to-day operations that will contribute to the overall success of our service. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about sustainability and looking to make a real impact in their community.

 Responsibilities

  • Process reusables through the wash/sanitation, drying and repackaging steps following the Bold Reuse clean procedure
  • Unload and load reusables into delivery van 
  • Drive delivery van to client locations
  • Deliver clean reusables and pick up collected reusables from client locations
  • Track sanitation and processing data utilizing Bold Reuse data systems
  • Help keep facility clean and safe
  • Bi-weekly 1:1 meetings with Operations Manager

Requirements:

  • Must be able to work well with as part of a team
  • Ability to communicate clearly, read/write/record data, and perform simple mathematical calculations
  • Reliable; consistently at work and on time
  • Able to carefully follow company policies and procedures 
  • Capable of lifting 50 lbs
  • Experience working in food service or retail is a plus

Schedule:

Part-time, 17 – 20 hours total per week. We are looking for 3-4 continuous hours daily, Monday – Friday, anytime between 7 am – 7 pm. We can be flexible with shift start and end times. No weekend work. 

Compensation: 

$19.97 per hour plus paid holidays and paid time off.

Position Details

We are looking for a self-motivated Operations Lead with experience in production and warehouse management who will support the development and expansion of Bold Reuse operations in Kansas City. This leader will drive value for our organization by managing the execution of our service contracts while continuously innovating our processes and developing new ones for new clients. Candidates must have excellent communication skills to share our vision and ensure that pertinent information reaches stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner. Job Type: 

This is a part-time position with some weekend availability required. 

Compensation: 

Starting at $22.50 per hour plus benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid holidays, and paid time off. 

Key Responsibilities and Job Elements:

  • Manage and support daily operations including logistics and sanitation services for clients
  • Hire and schedule shifts for the operations team 
  • Establish clear performance expectations, monitor and proactively drive improvement and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Provide operations leadership and develop strategies to achieve continuous performance improvements in Operations
  • Identify, test, and vet operational efficiency ideas
  • Build and execute productivity plans through forecast reviews, determining productivity requirements

Position Details

We are currently seeking a temporary local Operations Specialist who will be responsible for duties necessary for the successful sanitation of reusables, as well as logistics and administrative activities. Although this operations role is temporary it is critical to the overall success and growth of our services. 

This position is short-term and therefore will have a specific start date and time and end date and time. The duration of this position will include approximately 15 hours, scheduled over 3 days, typically M-W between 9 am-4 pm CDT. You will be informed of all scheduling details during the hiring process. The location is in the West Bottoms area of KCK.  Payment for this position will be earned at the end of each interval worked. A commitment to the entire weekly process is preferred but we may have openings for on-call staff.

Position Details:

The Account Executive owns the end-to-end customer relationship including crafting, identifying, and closing sales, and manages existing accounts for Bold Reuse territories including the Phoenix region. As the individual who represents Bold Reuse and is the main connection point with our customers and prospects, we are looking for a self-starting closer who can build a pipeline, close that pipeline quickly and support existing clients. Your ability to keep a customer motivated, on track, and being a customer advocate, is essential to your success. You bring high energy, and are motivated to make your customers successful, and take time to understand their objectives, goals and requirements for partnering with Bold Reuse. You execute well under pressure and have a passion for life and hard work.

 

You Will:

  • Actively pursue, develop, and close new enterprise accounts (Sports & Entertainment, Schools, Food Service) while achieving sales goals and quotas.
  • Develop strategic plans for penetrating and closing accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across various departments within customer organizations, including Sustainability, Marketing, Operations, and Procurement.
  • Project manage complex sales and initiatives in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Define the overall approach for specific territories and regions, develop work plans, and create compelling sales propositions using internal and external data.
  • Maintain a high level of industry knowledge, including life cycle analysis, product offerings, pricing, discounts, promotions, forecasting, price modeling, P&L understanding, and contract development.
  • Update and maintain the CRM system, providing regular reports to senior leadership.

You Have:

  • 5-7 years’ experience selling at the executive level to enterprise corporations (Sales Experience with Top 100 Foodservice National Accounts or large Event Venues is preferred).
  • Experience working with a small, fast growing startup.
  • Demonstrated success in growing business volume
  • Experience in complex sales environments, demonstrating success in sales that have a major impact on our business, many stakeholders and longer sales cycles (6+ months)
  • An ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, cross-functional environment
  • Strong analytical skills demonstrated by previous experience using systems for tracking sales, determining ROI, and developing data-driven strategies
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills: negotiation, deal creation and presentation skills
